The Ideal Formwork System for Most Vertical Applications in Ravet

The wide range of high quality soldiers and accessories has evolved as a result of long established working relationships with building and civil engineering companies. The adaptability of the system allows the contractor to use one economical system for all types of temporary works.
The solider system is designed for a wide range of construction applications and to withstand high fresh concrete pressure. The chief component for solider system is the steel soldier beam which is produced in various sizes of up to 360 cm. With its unrivalled strength-to-weight ratio, versatility and range of accessories all forming applications can be handled safely and easily. The steel soldiers are renowned for versatility and exceptional heavy-duty shoring capacity, ideal for large slabs, bridge decks, tunnel forms and beams. In addition, the system provides an adaptable and economic formwork system which can be used in a range of wall forming and slab support applications.
When the soldiers are combined with the aluminum waling beams greater economies can be achived. The superior strength of the walings allows soldier spacings and tie loads to be optimised. To this can be added the benefits of long life, light weight, and fast assembly, all combining to give the most versatile system ever for wall formwork. Used with large, high quality sheets of plywood, the soldier system can satisfy even the most stringent concrete finish specifications whilst keeping deflection to acceptable limits even with the highest concrete pressures. It can also be easily adapted for use as a high strength beam or shore with the use of the comprehensive range of formwork accessories.
The soldier system is a highly versatile formwork that has been designed to be used for a wide range of concrete forming applications
Single-Sided Walls Formwork Single
sided walls are some of the most demanding formwork at any construction site; unlike double-sided formwork, here the total concrete pressure has to be transferred from the formwork via a support structure into an existing structure or foundation. The soldier system offers fast, reliable, safe and economical single sided formwork. Sections can be assembled and moved by crane, saving time and effort. The height and spacing of the steel soldiers is adapted to the wall height and concrete pressure. The system is aligned with the aid of shoring jacks. Single-sided formwork has to transfer the fresh concrete lateral pressure reliably to the bottom slab.
The height and spacing of the steel soldier is controlled by the wall height and concrete pressure. The system is aligned with the aid of shoring jacks. The support system is available for virtually any desired wall dimensions with some adaptations depending on the desired height. The anchor bolts are normally used to transfer the lateral concrete pressure to the foundation. It is very important to use good quality anchor bolts with suitable size.
Using a full range of proven accessories, the soldier system can be used for all wall form configurations while maximising labour savings through the use of lightweight aluminum beams. -
Soldier system can also be used to form sigle sided walls formwork with anchor tie rod instead of anchor bolts. The raking props joined to the vertical and horizontal soldiers provide restraint required in this application. A single-sided wall requires specific technical demands on a formwork system. The soldier system has often proven its value in numerous sophisticated projects to the limits of what is possible, even for unusually high walls.
The adaptability of this system allows contractors to use one economical system for all types of temporary works-
This wall formwork arrangement is specially designed for the construction of single sided wall where anchor bolts cannot be used. It is supported by a Swiftsoldier system with Holding Down Bracket and fixed into position by recoverable Anchor Tie Rod cast-in at 45°. This system is reliable and durable with excellent concrete finishing.
The Soldier system offers minimum cost compared to conventional formwork systems
Corner Solutions
Tie rods have been specifically designed to match the load capacity of the soldier. The tie rod is 16 mm in diameter and uses a self cleaning coil thread to reduce the maintenance cost. The full 60 kN permissible load can be carried at any position along the soldier, and does not decrease with higher bending moment. Access brackets can be fitted to the soldiers at any height to form conventional platforms for the pouring of concrete. It can provide maximum safety in fixing or removing ties on higher forms or platforms on another level. To support the forms during erection and between uses, stabilizers can be fitted. This has a wide base for safety and is easily adjustable for angle. For higher pours or when extra safety is required, inclined struts can be used as push-pull props.
Soldier System Features
- Inclined Shoring - When the work requires to pour large walls or column concrete elements, large pre-cast structural units or walls of existing building during refurbishment, heavy-duty inclined soldier systems may be required to support the forms in order to maintain strength and stability.
- Horizontal Shoring - In this application the system is used to provide safe and heavy duty struts for excavation works or to support existing building during reconstruction. Special plates are erected at ends to ensure maximum safety in use. The socket fits over the end of shoring adapters and the angle ledge ensures that the shore is supported safely on the waling timber or steel.
- Vertical Shoring - Soldiers can be used as heavy duty vertical shores. In this application the system can achieve up to 100 kN depending on the un-braced length portion of the soldiers. Conventional scaffolding tubes can be used to brace the soldier’s structure for extra stability. The system provides safety and simplicity in erection and service stages. By adding the adjustable shoring adapter at top and bottom with the heavy duty forkhead on top, efficient shoring system can be formed to support very heavy loads.
- Space Frame Applications - With the aid of 6-way connections and some other fixed and swivel connectors, the soldier can be assembled as a space frame to cover wide range of construction applications. The soldier’s structure may be considered as a substitute for the traditional structural steelwork in the case of medium duty construction. The system provides versatility and reduces the cost of construction compared to that of structural steel elements.
